Even though this is dealing with food, it's a decoration.

Take an artichoke and cut out the center and place a taper candle in it at both ends of the table for a lovely, "green" candle holder.

This is especially pretty if you're using greens/fruits/vegetables for your table setting.

Sounds very pretty agrit; sorry to say I'm not much on decorating since the kids have grown up. Even sadder to say it seems like just another day.

However, I love the ideas!

With all the water restrictions, it's been hard to keep flowers growing in the yard.

I go to the dollar stores and get the "fake" flowers and put in pots/flower beds throughout the yard.

For the minimal amount of money it takes for you to have a great looking "flower" it is well worth it. I don't have to worry about killing by not remembering to water it. But I feel like I'm helping to conserve water but still have a pretty yard.
