I am preparing to add a music box to the forum. It can be found at the bottom of the forum, after the vote links. Members may stop the music if they wish to not hear it. Right now, we're playing Christmas music.

After Christmas, we'll start a thread to see what type of music everyone likes. Suggestions are welcome on how to play the music fairly for all. Maybe we could give the top four players each month the privlege to chose the music for one week (each player has one week's music).

We'll discuss later... hope you enjoy.

I had the music box all set up, on all 3 skins we have right now. However, I noticed that every time you go to another part of the forum, the music starts all over again. Even if you change the track, it reverts back to the first song. And that was driving me nuts. I may not have it set up correctly, so I'll be looking into it.

For the time being, I have taken the music box off the skins.

Yep, I'll pm you the website MB. I couldn't get the music to stop; it was very aggravating after awhile. Members and guests could not listen to an entire song.

I'm gonna try this again. There is a song narrated by Johnny Cash that is excellent, and it truly brings a smile to ones heart.

Bear with me on the music box; got it loaded but it keeps pausing itself.

Also, to continually hear the music box, open another browser and just select play to hear the music. For some reason, all music boxes I've come across will stop when you go to another area of the board, and then restart on the first song... over and over again. It's quite annoying. So, if you use one browser to look through and post to the forum, and other browser to just sit and play music, that works.

But, first I need to fix the 'pause' problem.

In the Suggestions forum, I will place a thread for song requests, and will make up new playlists as we go.

ok, I got it to work for me at work. First, open up a browser and go to the board link - DO NOT LOGIN!

Next, start the player. After in starts playing, minimize that browser.

Open another browser and go to the board link; in this browser, you can login and the music will still play because it's on another browser. DO NOT START THE MUSIC BOX ON THE SITE WHERE YOU ARE LOGGED IN.

I changed the music box's selection to another list, which includes alot of 50's and 60's music, as TrailBlazer requested, and there are 3 songs by Janis Joplin requested by MrsBelcher.
