Hey everyone!

I wanted to let everyone know that both of Brutus' eye cateract surgeries were a complete success!

On February 12, the right eye was done. Unlike lasik, only one eye can be done at a time. Brutus' doc did say both could be done at the same time, however he doesn't like doing that in case there's a problem with the first, it can be anticipated for the second surgery.

The day after his surgery, he was seeing 20/25 out of that eye. By the 3rd week, his sight in that eye is 20/20!!!

On March 25th, he had surgery on his left eye. Again, the day after, his doc told him he was seeing 20/25. He goes to see his surgeon April 21st, and we're hoping again his left eye will read 20/20.

It's just freakin' amazing the things medical science has come up with. He is just so happy to see, actually see what's in front of him.

Shoot! He said the day after his second surgery, he went driving around just to see what scenery and signs he had missed! lol

:yay:
